INVITATION: UNESCO GWYN Regional Workshop on Groundwater Status: EUROPE & N. AMERICA Date: 14th November 2022 Time: 17:00 CET

In generale - Pubblicato il 10 Novembre 2022

The year 2022 has been devoted to groundwater following the motto of World Water Day „Groundwater: Making the invisible visible”. Raising awareness about our hidden underground water resources is culminating in the UN-Water Summit on Groundwater in early December. The Groundwater Youth Network (GWYN), a newly minted UNESCO youth-led worldwide network, is asking YOU to help us prepare a Regional Groundwater Statement and short video outlining the current issues and potential solutions related to groundwater that will be presented at the Groundwater Summit! GWYN provides a platform for youth (age 17–37) to connect with other young leaders from around the world to share groundwater-related ideas, challenges, and solutions that can improve the knowledge, management and sustainable use of water resources.

We invite youth (age 17-37) in Europe & North America to contribute in three ways:

1. REGIONAL STATEMENT
Help write the regional statement for Europe & North America by filling out this form by November 13th, ahead of the Regional Workshop.

2. REGIONAL WORKSHOP on Groundwater State: Europe and North America
Join fellow youth to discuss the regional statement and video; the agenda is attached.

Date: 14th November 2022
